The City of Davao (Filipino: Lungsod ng Dabaw; Bisaya Language: Ciudad sa Dabaw) is the largest city on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. Its international airport and seaports are among the busiest cargo hubs in the Philippines. Economically, Davao City is the most important in Mindanao.

Fascinating Filipino Facts (FFF):
The 100,000 peso bill is currently listed by Guinness World Records as the largest legal tender. Only 1,000 bills were created and each bill contains 21 security codes to prevent counterfeiting.
It is advisable, however, not to use this when paying for:
- just a couple of sticks of cigarettes and candy.
- jeepney minimum fare .
- fishballs.
or suffer the severe tongue lashing that Filipino's are quite expert at, both to your face and after you've left as demonstrated by Jeepney drivers when they curse at other drivers for minutes or hours at a time even though the other driver is in an air-conditioned vehicle and could not a hear a word and would then turn to you to ask for affirmation on the stupidity of the other driver and not him. ;-D

The Garbage problem is a serious issue in the Philippines with rivers and air polluted to the point of killing some small species of fish and animals. And so, some areas have taken matters into their own hands with punishment for offenses so grave, it could be your last! Your FINAL PENALTY or FINALTY for short! =))
