More FAN in the Philippines
The Dept. of Health has warned the public, especially senior citizens, against possible heat stroke with summer's searing heat.
Asst. Secretary Eric Tayag, also DOH spokesperson, said the people should drink at least 13 glasses of water to avoid dehydration, even when they are not thirsty. -PNR
It is very important to cool the body off using any means necessary to avoid heat stroke. :)

The 100,000 peso bill is currently listed by Guinness World Records as the largest legal tender. Only 1,000 bills were created and each bill contains 21 security codes to prevent counterfeiting.
It is advisable, however, not to use this when paying for:
- just a couple of sticks of cigarettes and candy.
- jeepney minimum fare .
- fishballs.
or suffer the severe tongue lashing that Filipino's are quite expert at, both to your face and after you've left as demonstrated by Jeepney drivers when they curse at other drivers for minutes or hours at a time even though the other driver is in an air-conditioned vehicle and could not a hear a word and would then turn to you to ask for affirmation on the stupidity of the other driver and not him. ;-D

In the old days, Filipinos promoted both their foreign and local films using hand-painted plywood posters. Though a rarity these days, some can still find these one-of-a-kind works of art at a handful of movie houses around the metro. The Garbage problem is a serious issue in the Philippines with rivers and air polluted to the point of killing some small species of fish and animals. And so, some areas have taken matters into their own hands with punishment for offenses so grave, it could be your last! Your FINAL PENALTY or FINALTY for short! =))
